Objectives
Develop interdisciplinary expertise, scientific autonomy and the ability to design, conduct and communicate research.
Research themes
Genetics and pharmacogenetics; microbial biomolecules; genomics and bioinformatics; probiotics and immune regulation.
Programme
Advanced molecular biology and genetic engineering, genomics and bioinformatics, complemented by research methodology, introductory pedagogy, ICT, foreign languages and seminars. The doctoral logbook supports progress monitoring.
