General Secretariat

Under the Director’s authority, the General Secretariat oversees staff careers, budget preparation and implementation, operating resources, infrastructure and equipment. It monitors maintenance, inventories and the operation of technical services.

The Internal Security Office reports to it. Two subdirectorates cover staff, training and cultural and sporting activities, and finance and resources.

The national framework for technical services covers printing and audiovisual work, information systems and networks, distance learning and the intensive language teaching centre (CEIL), under the Order of 25 February 2018 as amended in 2025. The General Secretariat oversees technical service operations; the information systems deputy directorate carries out its coordination duties.
